Seminars and Conferences
The Credit Union Association of Rhode Island offers a wide variety of seminars and conferences designed to keep you current on all things credit union.
The Association sponsors several multi-day conferences each year. They provide a forum where credit union executives and volunteers gather to network with peers, renew old acquaintances, and gain insight into the ever-changing world of financial services. The individual sessions that are offered during these conferences generally cover a range of topics. These conferences include the Fall Leadership Conference, Spring Volunteer Development Conference, and the Small Credit Union Conference.
Classroom training, long the staple of credit union learning, is an integral part of the League's education and training offerings. The Association offers a wide range of sessions that address the needs of your credit union. Some of these deal with a specific topic such as a new regulation, and others are focused on trends in a particular discipline such as lending, compliance, or marketing. These programs are full day or multiple day.
