Fall edition of CenterPoint focuses on succession planning
The fall 2013 issue of the Association's quarterly magazine, CenterPoint is in the mail and it features an extensive article on succession planning entitled The Domino Effect: CEO Turnover Becomes a Serious Game for Executive Management. A number of newly appointed CEOs and HR professionals including the Association’s Senior Vice President of Human Resource Management Beverly Purtell share their insights into the current state of executive search.
A second feature piece by Steve Eimert and Michael Sullivan, partners at the law firm of Sherin and Lodgen, examines the related subject of executive compensation. The article deals with the legal considerations that must be a part of decisions that credit unions make when they seek to develop competitive state of the art compensation plans for top executives.
Among the many other stories in this edition are roundups of the Credit Union Association of Rhode Island, Massachusetts Credit Union League, and New Hampshire Credit Union League annual meetings.
