Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, the VP/Finance Manager will manage the day-to-day accounting functions of the Credit Union, as well as oversee the work of the DDA/EFT Assistant and the Accounting Supervisor.

 

In addition, the VP/Finance Manager will assist the SVP/CFO in the preparation and analysis of various financial statements, asset and liability management, the yearly budget, strategic planning reports to the board of directors, as well as assist the work of outside auditors and state bank examiners.

 

The VP/Finance Manager will also oversee the Credit Union's investment portfolio and accurately record all transactions and reserve calculations as necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with at least five to ten years of progressively responsible financial management and accounting experience in a credit union or banking environment is required. In addition, the successful candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of computer software as it relates to the banking industry.
